Do you ever feel stuck?

You vowed you would parent your kids differently.

You thought you’d be further along in your career.

You assumed you’d be happier at this point in your life.

But instead, you find yourself repeating the same mistakes

You’re second guessing yourself at every turn.

You feel stuck in circumstances you can’t change.

You feel dissatisfied and disappointed.

Restless for more,

But weary of trying.

You know something needs to change, but you don’t know where or how to start.

Emily Zeller, licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois, stands outside, smiling, in a green shirt.

That’s where online therapy can help.

Hi, I’m Emily.

As a wife, mom, and business owner, I understand on a personal level just how messy life can feel sometimes.

And as a marriage and family therapist, I’ve sat with dozens of mothers, couples, and families who have felt the same way—stuck, disappointed, and dissatisfied. If there’s one thing I’ve observed over years of counseling people, it’s this:

Sometimes we have to be willing to flip the script to experience a different outcome.

My Approach

My role as a therapist is to help you recognize and explore the many influences that have shaped you into the person you are today—while also holding compassionate space for you to discover your own goals, values, and desires. I use an empathetic and collaborative approach to explore the roadblocks and barriers that keep you from living in alignment with your values.

I can’t help you create a perfect life. But together, we can map out a plan for you to get unstuck and discover new ways of living that lead toward a life that is perfect for you and authentic to you

How I Can Help

Therapy for Moms

You love being a mom. But you’re also more than a mom. Or at least, you want to be. But you’re struggling with the guilt of taking time and energy away from your kids to put toward yourself, your career, your health, or your goals.

Family Therapy

Your family used to be close, but now relationships are tense and family gatherings feel like a landmine. But you love each other and want to find a way to move through the dissension, heal the hurts, and create a new, healthier dynamic.

Engaged Couples Therapy

You fell in love, set the date, booked the venue, and ordered invitations… but what about life after the wedding? You want to proactively invest in your future marriage by laying a solid foundation you both can build upon.

Marriage Therapy

You’ve been married for a while, but one day you woke up and realized your spouse felt more like a roommate than a partner. You want to rekindle your marriage and find ways to reconnect with each other.

How does Online Therapy Work?

I provide treatment virtually for clients throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Illinois. Online therapy functions much like in-person therapy, but with the added bonus that you can attend sessions from your couch, in the comfort of your own home, with your favorite cup of coffee in hand. Many clients find this to be more comfortable and convenient, while experiencing the same results as in-person therapy.

How Do I Get Started?

  1. Schedule a free 20-minute consultation with me.

We get to know each other and discover if we’re a good fit.

  2. Book your first session.

We establish your goals and map out a treatment plan together.

  3. Put in the work.

Show up to therapy with an open mind and implement what we discuss in between sessions.
