Couples Intensive

Helping couples reconnect and rebuild intimacy with respect, understanding, and care.

You both want a happy marriage. You’ve felt like roommates for too long and want to do something about it now

You love each other, but somewhere along the way, life took over—and now, it feels like you're just coexisting instead of truly connecting. The laughter, the late-night talks, the inside jokes... they’ve been replaced with logistics, routines, and an unspoken distance that neither of you knows how to close.

You keep saying you’ll figure it out, that you’ll make time to work on things when life slows down—but deep down, you know you can’t afford to wait any longer.

This isn’t about giving up. It’s about finally giving your relationship the time and space it deserves. A chance to get real, get honest, and get back to each other—before the distance becomes too great to bridge.

Let’s start now. Because the relationship you miss is still within reach.

You might be feeling:

  • Resentful that the mental and emotional load of home and family life falls mostly on you.

  • Drained from the constant tension and bickering, wondering why every little thing turns into a fight.

  • Unheard and unsupported, like your needs and feelings keep getting brushed aside.

  • Disconnected - emotionally, physically, maybe even sexually—like you’re just going through the motions.

  • Worried that if something doesn’t change soon, the distance between you will only grow.

You don’t want to keep living like this. And you don’t have to. Let’s figure this out—together.

Through an intentional, couple’s therapy intensive..

We’ll create a roadmap to help get your relationship back on track.

HOW IT WORKS

Your Relationship Deserves a Plan That Works for You

Every couple’s challenges are unique, which is why I tailor each intensive to your specific needs. Many couples benefit from multiple sessions over several days to truly dive deep and create lasting change. Here’s how it works:

  • We’ll start with a free consult call to understand your dynamic, challenges, and goals so we can craft the best approach for you.

  • You’ll complete a detailed intake packet to share your relationship history, current struggles, and what you want to achieve.

  • We’ll meet for an in-depth session to unpack your challenges and create a clear roadmap for your intensive, including measurable goals to track your progress.

  • I’ll design a targeted approach using Gottman Method, Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you break old patterns and build deeper connection.

  • We’ll meet for the selected number of sessions online (For couples living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ohio & Illinois)

  • To help you integrate what you’ve learned, we can meet to debrief, assess progress, and troubleshoot any challenges.

This is your opportunity to go all in on your relationship and finally make the changes you’ve been craving.

Couples intensives start at $2,100

Why they work

Therapy intensives help couples dive deep and make real progress - fast. They’re for the couple who’s ready to face the hard stuff head-on, take ownership of their part, and finally break the cycle that’s keeping them stuck.

Instead of starting and stopping in weekly one-hour sessions, intensives give you dedicated time to get to the root of your struggles and actually start shifting your dynamic. It’s a focused, research-backed approach using the Gottman Method to help you break unhealthy patterns, communicate effectively, and rebuild trust - so you can stop having the same fights and start feeling like true partners again. If you’re tired of waiting for things to get better on their own, this is your chance to do the real work - together.

Your Options

I know every couple’s needs and schedules are different, so I design intensives with maximum flexibility to fit your life. Your intensive can be customized based on:

✔ Session length: 3-5 hour segments
✔ Number of sessions: 1 or 2-day formats
✔ Frequency: Back-to-back days or spaced out weekly
✔ Location: In-person at a vacation rental near Pittsburgh, PA or online for couples in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio

A customized plan tailored to your needs – Using the Gottman Method, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we’ll break unhelpful patterns and build deeper connection.

Guidance and support at every stage – I’ll be with you throughout the process, providing insights, tools, and strategies to help you create real, lasting change.

My Approach
Stronger Relationships Start Here

With over 13 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve worked with countless couples who feel stuck—caught in the same arguments, feeling more like roommates than partners, and wondering if things will ever feel easy again.

I love this work because I know what’s possible. I know how powerful it is when couples finally feel seen, heard, and understood—when they stop talking past each other and start connecting again.

With my training in the Gottman Method, I help couples break free from those same old arguments and that feeling of being stuck. It’s not just about learning how to talk better—it’s about understanding what’s really going on underneath the surface, knowing how to repair after a fight, and building the kind of trust and connection that actually lasts.

My gift is holding space for you--I’m excellent at holding space—giving couples the chance to breathe, step out of defensiveness, and truly hear each other. My style is direct but deeply compassionate—I’ll challenge the patterns keeping you stuck while equipping you with practical tools to reconnect, repair, and move forward.

This work isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. You don’t have to stay stuck in frustration and resentment. I can help you rediscover what it feels like to be partners again.

Relationship Reset: A Private Therapy Intensive for Busy Couples

Life is full - kids, careers, in-laws, responsibilities - and somewhere along the way, your relationship shifted. The spark faded, conversations became about logistics, and intimacy turned into something you used to have.

Maybe you haven’t had a major crisis, but you’ve slowly drifted apart. And now, you’re wondering… How do we get back to us?

💡 That’s where a therapy intensive comes in.

Instead of months of weekly sessions, a private intensive gives you focused time to work through what’s been pulling you apart—so you can start feeling like partners again.

Why an Intensive?

✔️ You’re busy. Between work, kids, and everything else, it’s hard to carve out time for weekly therapy. A dedicated, deep-dive session gives you the momentum to reset.
✔️ You need more than a quick check-in. When the foundation of your relationship has shifted, real change takes more than an hour a week—it takes immersive, intentional work.
✔️ You want to reconnect now—not months from now. An intensive helps you see progress faster, with practical tools you can use immediately.

What to Expect

I’ll guide you through a process rooted in Gottman Method therapy, which isn’t just about communication—it’s about understanding the patterns in your relationship and learning how to show up for each other when it matters most.

🔹 Did you know? Gottman research shows that happy couples don’t just support each other in hard times—they show up in the good times, too. In fact, responding to your partner’s bids for connection (even in small, everyday moments) is one of the strongest predictors of long-term relationship satisfaction.

An intensive will help you:
✨ Identify what’s pulling you apart—and how to shift those patterns.
✨ Rebuild emotional intimacy—so you feel seen and heard again.
✨ Learn how to repair after conflict—so disagreements don’t turn into resentment.
✨ Strengthen your friendship and partnership—because that’s the foundation of everything.

It’s Time to Prioritize Us

Before the kids, the jobs, and the stress, it was just the two of you. That connection is still there—it just needs space to breathe.

Let’s get you back on track. Schedule your private therapy intensive today.

🔹 Limited spots available—reach out to book.

Why Choose a Relationship Intensive?

The truth is, you don’t need more surface-level advice—you need real, focused work.

This isn’t about just fixing what’s broken. It’s about rediscovering what made you fall in love in the first place, reconnecting in a way that feels natural, and learning how to move forward—together—instead of feeling stuck in the same old patterns.

A therapy intensive gives you:

✔️ The time and space to truly focus on your relationship—without distractions or rushed conversations.
✔️ Clarity on what’s pulling you apart and how to shift those patterns for good.
✔️ Tools you can actually use—so you walk away with a plan, not just insights.
✔️ A renewed sense of partnership—because your relationship should feel like a safe, supportive place, not another source of stress.

💡 Your relationship doesn’t have to stay stuck. Real change can start sooner than you think—when you make space for it now.

Let’s rebuild the connection you both want and deserve. Take the first step today.

Most couples don’t think they need therapy—until divorce is on the table. 🚨

But here’s the truth: It’s easy to think you’re “fine” until the distance feels too big to fix. Until the tension becomes the norm. Until resentment replaces connection. Don’t wait for a breaking point.

🔥 You don’t have to be screaming at each other or recovering from betrayal to need help. The slow drift—the one where conversations feel transactional, intimacy fades, and you start feeling more like roommates—is just as dangerous.

💡 The best time to work on your relationship is before it feels unfixable.

💛 If you love each other but feel disconnected…
💛 If you keep having the same fights with no resolution…
💛 If you miss how things used to be…

Now is the time. Not when it’s too late.

🔹 Don’t wait for a crisis to fix what’s slipping away. Book your intensive today.

The #1 Predictor of Divorce? Contempt.

Research shows that contempt—eye-rolling, sarcasm, criticism, or that feeling of being better than your partner—is the strongest indicator that a marriage is heading toward divorce. Why? Because contempt erodes respect, trust, and emotional safety—the foundation of any lasting relationship.

💔 How Contempt Shows Up in Everyday Life:

❌ The Subtle Dig: “Wow, must be nice to sit and relax while I do everything.” (Translation: I resent you, and I’m keeping score.)

❌ The Eye-Roll Response: Your partner shares an idea or concern, and instead of engaging, you roll your eyes and dismiss them. (Translation: What you’re saying isn’t worth my time.)

❌ The Character Attack: “You always act like a victim. You’re so sensitive.” (Translation: There’s something wrong with you, not just this situation.)

❌ Mocking & Sarcasm: “Oh sure, like you ever help with the kids.” (Translation: I don’t respect your effort, and I’d rather shame you than ask for what I need.)

👉 If any of this feels familiar, don’t ignore it. Contempt doesn’t just disappear—it builds. And if left unchecked, it’s one of the fastest ways to destroy connection and intimacy.

💡 You don’t have to wait until things fall apart.

Most couples don’t think they need therapy until they’re at their breaking point—but by then, the damage is deep. The best time to invest in your relationship is NOW, before the distance grows too wide.

🔥 Book a therapy intensive today and start rebuilding respect, connection, and trust—before it’s too late.

You relationship can change in a day.

Disclaimers

Intensives are not for every couple. Is an Intensive Right for You?

Before scheduling an Intensive, here are a few important things to consider:

  • If you or your partner have experienced suicidality in the past 12 months or are in an active state of crisis, an Intensive is not the right fit. Please seek immediate support through crisis resources or a local mental health provider.

  • If there is an active affair, an Intensive is not an option. Both partners need to be fully committed to rebuilding trust before diving into this level of work.

  • If one or both of you are unsure whether you want to work on the relationship, this format won’t be productive. An Intensive is for couples who are aligned in their goal to repair and reconnect—not those still deciding if they want to stay together.

  • If one or both partners are currently struggling with addiction, an Intensive is not appropriate. Addiction recovery should be the priority before engaging in deep relational work.

  • If you and your partner can’t be in the same space without extreme conflict or if intimate partner violence is present, an Intensive is not a safe or effective option. If you need support in these areas, please visit this resource for more help.

  • If you’re not sure whether an Intensive is the right step for you, reach out—I’m happy to help you assess whether this format is a good fit or direct you to other resources that better suit your needs.

  • If you're traveling from out of state, all services are provided under my license in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio and follow state-specific guidelines, including confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and mandatory reporting laws.

Maybe things haven’t felt “bad enough” and honestly, scheduling your hectic schedules to do therapy has felt impossible, but you know you don’t want to wait until it is SO bad. Between your jobs, the kids, in-laws and school activities.

Let’s take 3 months of therapy and put it into one day.
