Hi, I’m Emily!

I am a licensed marriage & family therapist with over 10 years of experience.

I am so glad you landed on my page! I’ll get right to the point—if you don’t like your therapist, therapy is never going to work. It is so important you feel like your therapist gets you and is easy to connect with.

As a wife and mom of 3 young girls (2 being identical twins!), I can personally relate to the chaos, overwhelm and anxiety of motherhood. In my practice, I focus on working with moms, couples and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression and feeling disconnected in their relationships. I want you to leave our sessions feeling supported, more hopeful and with a plan in place.

It is so important that you feel seen, heard and like you can be your authentic self in every session. Everyone feels and heals differently—growth isn’t linear, nor does it happen on a specific schedule.

Together, we can work to create a plan that allows you to navigate personal growth to cultivate a deeper sense of self.  Our goal is to help you to bring a feeling of authenticity and confidence into your relationships.

When I am not working with clients, I like to spend time with my husband, our three young girls and our two dogs. For my fellow Meyers Briggs & Enneagram enthusiasts, I am an ENFJ and Enneagram Type Two (SX, SO, SP). I enjoy traveling, reading and baking. My husband and I have a goal of running a half marathon in each state—so far, we’ve done 15!

In my professional career, I’ve worked in hospital, home and school settings before focusing on private practice.

I believe the client and therapist relationship is the most important element of therapy, which is why I offer a free, 20 minute video consultation to help you determine if I am the right fit for you!

  • "Emily is a wonderful therapist. She makes you feel comfortable to have the difficult conversations you may have been putting off . I also love that I don’t feel judged by her when I share what’s on my heart. She listens and offers helpful notes, when appropriate. It’s special to find someone like her to work with and I am grateful to work with her!"

  • "Over the past year and a half, Emily has been an amazing therapist to work with. As a busy mother, working full time, and raising littles, she has gone above and beyond to accommodate my busy schedule and give undivided attention during our therapy sessions. Since our first meeting, Emily has made therapy a safe space to process my feelings and day-to-day needs. She remembers details and focuses on the importance of building me up, with tools that I did not even realize were already in my back pocket. I look forward to every single session and continuing to work with Emily! I highly recommend her to any mother in need of a safe place and outlet during this busy season of life!"
